About FLIN
The Farmer-Led Innovation Network was established in 2018. Members are farmer-centric initiatives of different forms, all promoting bottom-up and joint learning amongst farmers, growers and relevant stakeholders, bringing together a diversity of knowledge to tackle real on-farm problems.
Sharing best practice
Member organisations are focused on effectively supporting farmers and growers tackle their agricultural challenges. FLIN creates an open hub to share best practice, knowledge, ideas, and establish best practice 'standards'.
Advocacy
On-farm innovation and knowledge exchange is supported by a complex landscape of organisations. FLIN pools evidence and acts as a unique combined voice to policymakers and funders when designing programmes of support for farmers and growers.
Development
In sharing best practice, FLIN also creates opportunities to develop skills and understanding in aspects of farmer-centric innovation, such as facilitation, innovation support, and dissemination. FLIN provides the networking opportunities to foster new collaborations.
